Our on site activities invite you to experience the coast at your own pace, whether your days are filled with exploration, stillness, or a little of both. Dekeza Dhows, working out of Kipepeo beach, run traditional dhow trips and island excursions — including Sinda Island — and can arrange snorkelling and fishing trips.
Discover Sinda Island Marine Reserve
Twenty minutes out, lies Sinda Island, with giant baobabs and pristine shallows.
Snorkel The Reef Offshore
Beyond the shore, Sinda Island’s reefs reveal a quieter world of clownfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, and moray eels.
Play Barefoot Beach Games
A dedicated beach space can be arranged for groups along with food and drinks packages for games and gathering. A volleyball net is set up on the beach, with balls available from reception for relaxed games by the sea.
Go For a Sail
Just a short stroll along the beach, the Kigamboni sailing centre offers something for everyone, from beginner lessons for children and adults to Laser dinghy rentals for experienced sailors. Or join a catamaran cruise along Dar es Salaam’s beautiful coastline and enjoy the city from the water.
